As Seen on Socials: SIUE Spreads Love with "Take a Rose, Give a Rose," and "Dip & Sip"

SIUE students, faculty and staff celebrated Valentine's season with moments of kindness and connection across campus.
During "Take a Rose, Give a Rose" participants picked up a rose to share with someone who brightened their day, or kept one as a reminder of self-love. Each exchange reflected the power of simple gestures to create meaningful connections.
At "Dip & Sip," students enjoyed sweet treats, dipped and decorated strawberries, savored chocolate delights, sipped refreshing drinks, and spent time with friends in a fun, relaxed setting.
Together, the activities filled campus with smiles, warmth, and Valentine's cheer, reminding the SIUE community that love and kindness can ripple far beyond a single moment.
