President Trump Honors And Respects Military Families

Today, I stood united with Gold Star mothers from FL-21 in support of Pete Hegseth's confirmation as the next Secretary of Defense. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have failed these families for far too long. That changes now.

These families bear the worst losses imaginable, and nothing can replace the loved ones who have given their lives in service to our country. The entire family makes a promise when their loved ones take the solemn oath of service, and President Trump will honor and respect the families who raised sons and daughters willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

For four years, Biden and Harris have prioritized politics over respect for military families. From the terrorist attack at the Abbey Gate and his refusal to say the names of the 13 fallen service members out loud to the constant stonewalling of Congressional oversight-their actions have shown a profound disregard for those who serve and their families.

Refusing to honor America's military members and their families is a betrayal by their Commander-in-Chief.

Every day, I wear four metal cuffs on my wrists, engraved with the names of my fallen brothers whom I vowed to never forget. Our veterans represent the best of our nation, and their families deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Thankfully, in less than one week, we will once again have a Commander-in-Chief who does just that.
