TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - I-95/Route 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists overnight multi-lane closures on northbound I-95 (Sunday through Tuesday) and southbound I-95 (Tuesday through Thursday) for bridge work. There will also be overnight lane closures on southbound Rt 896 for pavement striping and bridge work (tentatively Wednesday and Thursday).

o Northbound I-95 between the toll plaza and the Rt 896 Interchange (Sunday 8PM - 5AM)
o Northbound I-95 between the toll plaza and the Rt 896 Interchange (Monday 6PM - 5AM)
o Northbound I-95 between the toll plaza and the Rt 896 Interchange (Tuesday 8PM - 5AM)
· Tuesday, May 6th through Thursday, May 8th: Overnight multi-lane closure
o Southbound I-95 between the Welcome Center and the Rt 896 interchange (Tuesday 8PM - 5AM)
o Southbound I-95 between the Rt 896 interchange and the Toll Plaza (Wednesday 8PM - 5AM)
o Southbound I-95 between the Rt 896 interchange and the Toll Plaza (Thursday 9PM - 6AM)
