On this occasion, both parties signed two agreements aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the African Union Development Agency.
The first is a Headquarters Agreement for the establishment of the ADUA-NEPAD National Office in Morocco, while the second is a Framework Agreement for the promotion of development projects of common interest.
In a statement to the press, Bekele-Thomas praised Morocco's commitment, under the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to African integration, and the Kingdom's continued support for the Agency's activities.
She also emphasized that the signing of these two agreements reflects the Royal vision for Africa and Morocco's commitment to the African Union and the AU Development Agency.
The Framework Cooperation Agreement illustrates Morocco's support for the development of the African continent, she underlined, adding that ADUA-NEPAD will work in coordination with the Kingdom to implement the AU's Agenda 2063.
