San Rafael Activities Guide - Spring/Summer 2026

The City of San Rafael is excited to announce the release of the San Rafael Activities Guide - Spring/Summer 2026 Edition! This season's guide has been completely refreshed with a bold new layout and design, marking a new era for Library & Recreation as we continue our commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible programming for our community.

Summer Camps

Inside, residents will find our largest selection of summer camps yet, with expanded offerings across a wide range of youth interests. From athletics and creative arts to STEM-based favorites like LEGO engineering, there's something for every young learner and adventurer. Our overall programming has grown as well, offering an even broader selection of classes, camps, and activities for residents of all ages.

Expanded Library Section

We're especially proud of this year's expanded Library section. In addition to highlighting our enhanced library programming, the guide now features a full spread dedicated to the many free digital resources available with a library card. Residents can unlock eBooks, audiobooks, streaming content, learning platforms, and more-all at no cost.

Two exciting library features are spotlighted this season:

• The Memory Lab - A unique space where patrons can digitize analog media such as VHS tapes, photographs, and personal documents, preserving treasured memories for years to come.

• Foreign Films Review & Recommendation - Curated by one of our film expert librarians, this seasonal feature highlights standout international films available for free streaming through Kanopyand Hooplawith your library card.

The Cover

This season's cover embraces the theme "Splashing into Reading", celebrating both our love of the libraryand summer at the pool. The cover features a handpicked selection of books alongside our very own lifeguards at Terra Linda Community Pool-a playful nod to reading at the pool and making a splash with summer stories.

Printed guides are expected to arrive in residents' mailboxes by the end of February. In the meantime, the digital edition is live and ready to explore. We encourage residents to browse the online guide now and get a head start planning for the upcoming season.\
