NAMPA - The Idaho Transportation Department has rescheduled planned weekend closures on Interstate 84 between the Garrity (Exit 38) and Ten Mile (Exit 42) interchanges after high winds postponed work earlier this month.
Crews will now set girders this weekend for the Treasure Valley's first tri-level flyover ramp at the future I-84 and State Highway 16 interchange.
Here's what to expect:
Friday, March 20
• Eastbound I-84 closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Traffic will be detoured to Franklin Road.
Saturday, March 21 - Monday, March 23
• Eastbound I-84 closed. Traffic will exit and re-enter using the new ramps.
• Westbound I-84 reduced to two lanes.
• Closures begin Saturday at 6 a.m. and continue until Monday at 5 a.m.
Ongoing nighttime lane restrictions on I-84 will continue through the spring. All dates are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
