DNC Statement on Hanukkah Arrow

In celebration of Hanukkah, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison released the following statement:

"Over the next eight nights, our Jewish friends and family will gather to honor the miracle of Hanukkah. The Jewish Festival of Lights commemorates the story of a small amount of oil burning for eight days, embodying the enduring hope and resilience of the Jewish people.

"As we celebrate Hanukkah, we reflect on all that we've overcome and promise to carry the holiday's message with us into 2025: if we remain strong and have faith, light will always prevail in darkness.

"On behalf of the Democratic Party, we wish a very happy Hanukkah to all those who celebrate, and may it bring you joy and hope. Chag Chanukah Sameach!"
