Norton Rose Fulbright partner Katherine Tapley (San Antonio) has been invited by the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA) to join the organization as a Fellow for her legal acumen in commercial real estate finance law.
Katherine is one of 19 new Fellows this year and the first Norton Rose Fulbright US lawyer to be elected. As a Fellow, Katherine will collaborate with other members, share knowledge and work to advance the real estate finance profession.
ACMA includes more than 500 private practice, in-house and public sector lawyers, as well as professors of law, from the US, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. New Fellows are nominated by current members and must have substantial legal experience, a high caliber of professionalism and commitment to giving back to the profession and their communities.
Katherine, also a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, has experience in all aspects of complex commercial real estate transactions across the country, with a focus on the financing and development of multi-family projects, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues and other commercial real estate across multiple jurisdictions. She also serves as the firm's US Chair of the People First Committee.
