On March 26, the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth (REC of GFW) celebrated the outstanding achievements of Development Services employee Don Guy at their 2026 Annual Meeting. The awards committee presented Don with this year's Excellence Award. Each year, they honor individuals who exemplify impactful leadership and a strong commitment to the community.

As a plans examiner supervisor, Don is recognized for his exceptional customer service and passionate efforts to enhance Fort Worth's culture. He is known as a trusted problem solver, guiding projects through the development process with clarity, consistency and a strong commitment to customer service. His work plays a critical role in helping projects move from concept to completion across Fort Worth.
