Sunrise is a recognised leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of mobility products. It has identified the transferability of a self-contained and autonomous wheel propulsion system developed by Concourse Golf. Originally for use in golf buggies and similar sporting equipment, this technology was found to be highly applicable to certain of Sunrise's use case in designing and manufacturing wheelchairs, and other personal mobility devices.
The acquisition of the Concourse Golf companies and their intellectual property expands Sunrise's autonomous wheel propulsion capabilities, furthering their vision for accessible, resilient and adaptable mobility solutions across their global customer base.
