UWSP’s Carlsten Art Gallery presents: 2026 Student Juried Show

An exhibition of student work is on display at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's Carlsten Art Gallery as part of the 2026 Student Juried Show.

The exhibit runs from Thursday, Feb. 5 to March 6, 2026. An opening awards reception will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5. The gallery, located on the second floor of the Noel Fine Arts Center, is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Carlsten's highly anticipated annual student exhibition is by open invitation to all UWSP School of Design and Communication students. This show celebrates the work of 40 UWSP student artists in the disciplines of art, graphic design, interior architecture, media studies and professional communication.

This year, the show is juried by printmaker, book and pop-up artist, Benjamin Rinehart, a professor of studio art and chair of the art department at Lawrence University.

Award winners and associated scholarship prizes will be announced at the reception.

The Carlsten Art Gallery features a diverse range of exhibitions, from student talent to internationally recognized artists, with themes that explore topics relevant to our campus and Central Wisconsin communities. Carlsten is a space for engaging displays and community-driven events. As part of UWSP's College of Fine Arts and Communication, the gallery fosters an environment of creative exploration and academic excellence, guided by a dedicated team of faculty, staff and scholars.
