Russian-Togolese agreement on fundamentals of relations ratified
The agreement was signed in Moscow on November 19, 2025.
The agreement aims to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in politics, trade, the economy, culture, as well as humanitarian and other areas.
The agreement stipulates that the Parties shall develop relations based on respect for and observance of their national interests, as well as the generally recognised principles and norms of international law, and in accordance with the purposes and principles of the UN Charter.
The agreement stipulates that the Parties shall conduct regular dialogue and discussions at various levels on issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
