NOW HIRING - Equipment Operator II - Garrison

The McLean County Highway Department is seeking one or more reliable and skilled Equipment Operator IIs to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support county projects, including road maintenance, construction, snow removal, and other public works. If you have experience with heavy equipment operation and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement in the department. The new team member must live within 60 minutes travel time of Garrison.

Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience, a high school diploma, and a Class A North Dakota Driver's License with tanker and air brake endorsement. Starting base salary range is $52,613.23 - $57,752.76 per year (determined by experience). A full benefit package is offered including 100% paid health insurance (individual or family); employer funded participation in North Dakota Public Employee's Retirement System retirement program; and paid vacation and sick leave.
