UCA returns to normal operations Monday, Feb. 2, 2026

After a week of cold and layers of snow and sleet that were remarkably difficult to treat and slow to melt, UCA will resume normal operations Monday, Feb. 2. All remote operations will end, and all services will return to regular hours.

I would like to extend a sincere thank you to those who kept services on campus running smoothly during this extended period of inclement weather. Our teams in the Physical Plant, UCAPD, Aramark Dining Services, Information Technology, Torreyson Library, Housing and Residence Life, the Ronnie Williams Student Center, and the Courtway Recreation Center have worked - in some cases around the clock - to ensure that everyone on campus had access to necessary services and stayed safe. Thank you all for your extraordinary efforts!

As our region continues its thaw and looks forward to the much warmer temperatures of next week, wherever you currently are, continue to take precautions and use your best judgement. Please be safe as you navigate back to campus, and we look forward to seeing you on Monday.
