Sixteen Cozen O’Connor Attorneys Named to DC Courts’ 2025 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 5, 2026 - On April 21, 2026, the DC Courts released their 15th annual Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll. Established by the Courts in 2011 with help from the DC Access to Justice Commission, the DC Bar Pro Bono Center, and the DC Bar, the Honor Roll recognizes the contributions made by lawyers who provide pro bono legal services to those who cannot afford counsel and to disadvantaged small businesses and community-based nonprofits. This distinguished list includes D.C. Bar members and others authorized to perform pro bono legal work in the District who have completed 50+ hours of pro bono services in the past year.

"Pro bono service not only changes individual lives - it strengthens families and communities, protects fundamental rights, and reinforces public trust in our legal system. Whether assisting clients facing urgent legal challenges, supporting community organizations and small businesses, or contributing to systemic reform efforts, your work has a lasting and profound impact," said Chief Judge Blackburne-Rigsby (D.C. Court of Appeals) and Chief Judge Lee (D.C. Superior Court) in an open letter to the honorees.

The record-breaking 2025 Honor Roll includes 6,052 lawyers from more than 180 law firms, corporations, nonprofits, academia, as well as solo practitioners, including these 16 Cozen O'Connor lawyers:
