Advocacy Panel Formed to Support Small Credit Unions

America's Credit Unions is now accepting nominations to serve on its newly launched Small Credit Union Advocacy Advisory Panel.

The panel was formed to ensure the perspectives of smaller credit unions are reflected in advocacy efforts at both the national and state levels. It will include 30 representatives from credit unions with assets of up to $250 million, along with state league representation. Participants will offer insight on legislative and regulatory issues that most affect small credit unions and help strengthen coordination across advocacy efforts.

Participants will be selected to reflect a broad mix of regions, fields of membership, asset sizes, and professional backgrounds. This approach is intended to better align advocacy priorities with the unique realities facing small credit unions and support meaningful regulatory and legislative relief.

Nominations for the Small Credit Union Advocacy Advisory Panel are open through December 31, 2025, and can be submitted here.
