The Cure are looking ahead to 2027, with frontman Robert Smith promising more concerts and hinting new music could be on the way.
In a message to BBC Radio 6 Music on Tuesday (Nov. 3), Smith celebrated the band's nomination for the station's 2026 Artists of the Year shortlist before teasing what's next.
"I'm looking forward to more Cure concerts in 2027," the rocker revealed. "Of course, I'm not allowed to say when and where yet, but I'm confident they'll be bursting with new songs."
The announcement follows a busy year for the group, who returned to the stage for a summer run across Europe. In 2024, The Cure released Songs of a Lost World, their first studio album in 16 years.
He also teased that another album could be darker than Songs of a Lost World, offering fans plenty to anticipate as the band prepares for its next chapter.
