Andhra Pradesh approves a Universal Health Policy. The policy aims to provide health insurance coverage to all residents of the state, regardless of their financial circumstances. The policy guarantees free treatment for families up to $29,890 (INR 25 lakh) per year.

Karnataka approves Emergency Care Procedures. The state issues a circular to all hospitals and doctors to treat accident victims on a priority basis. Delhi releases draft DERC (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Tariff) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2025. The regulations, issued by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC), empowers power distribution companies in Delhi to automatically recover changes in fuel and power purchase costs monthly from consumers through a mechanism called the Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge (FPPAS).

Gujarat releases draft GERC (Terms and Conditions for Green Energy Open Access) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2025. West Bengal approves WBERC (Grid Interactive Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic System for Prosumers) Regulations, 2025. Maharashtra approves the extension of Working Hours. The decision will raise the daily cap on working hours in privately owned factories from nine to twelve, with mandatory rest breaks after six hours instead of five. For shops and other such establishments, the maximum number of working hours will rise from nine to ten hours a day.

Uttar Pradesh approves new Stamp Duty charges. The state approves a maximum charge of $56.68 (INR 5,000) for stamp duty and registration fees on property partition deeds. Previously, property partitions attracted 4 percent stamp duty and 1 percent registration fees on the property's value, which discouraged families from officially recording property partitions in municipal records. The new provision is expected to reduce litigation, facilitate amicable settlements, update land and revenue records, and make properties more easily available for sale.

Goa approves the Goa Land Development and Building Construction (Amendment) Regulations, 2025. The regulations amend earlier rules under which industrial units were required to also consider the "most restrictive criteria" among the number of stories and floor area while fixing the minimum width of access. The new rules permit the construction of industrial sheds and manufacturing facilities if the proposed road width is at least 10 meters.
