US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to discuss infrastructure, investments at U-M policy talk

EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

DATE: Monday, Jan. 13, 2025

EVENT: U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will talk about the Biden-Harris administration's record in transportation, including implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and its long-term investments in transportation and the built environment and supporting U.S. manufacturing.

Buttigieg also will address the administration's work to invest in the long-term health of U.S. supply chains, reducing emissions in the transportation sector, emergency preparedness, and road, rail and airline safety.

The event will be available to the public via livestream. In-person attendance is limited to Ford School of Public Policy faculty, students and staff.
