Roadway improvements are underway on portions of St. Francis Drive and Cerrillos Road as part of a collaborative project between the New Mexico Department of Transportation District 5 and the City of Santa Fe Public Works Department's Complete Streets Division.
Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-September and continue through mid-October 2026. All work will take place overnight, between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Project Area
Work will take place along:
St. Francis Drive from Cordova Road to Alamo Drive
Cerrillos Road from Cordova Road to Alarid Street
Traffic Impacts
Traffic control measures will be in place throughout construction. Motorists should expect impacts within the project area and are asked to follow all posted construction signs, traffic control devices, and designated detour routes.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution when traveling through construction zones to help ensure the safety of workers and the traveling public.
Cutler Repaving, Inc. is the contractor for the project.
