AIA Congratulates Troy Meink on His Confirmation as Secretary of the Air Force

Arlington, Va. - Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning today congratulated Troy Meink after he was confirmed as the 27th Secretary of the Air Force.

"On behalf of the manufacturers and suppliers behind the groundbreaking equipment America's Airmen and Guardians use to defend the country, the Aerospace Industries Association congratulates Troy Meink on his confirmation to be the Secretary of the Air Force," Fanning said. "While our Air Force and Space Force are the best in the world today, that superiority is not guaranteed unless we demonstrate real leadership and commitment to the defense industrial base, including accelerating the acquisition process.
