Pueblo Police Make Several Motor Vehicle Theft Arrests and Recoveries, Suspects May be Tied to Other Crimes

Pueblo, CO― In the early morning hours of June 12, 2025, Pueblo Police patrol officers recovered several stolen vehicles. As officers responded to the scene, the suspects fled in one of the stolen vehicles, lost control, and crashed it near the intersection of Pueblo Boulevard and Redwood Lane. The occupants then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Four suspects were later located and arrested.

Among those arrested were two adults: Gabriel Cervantez, 24, and Jynessa Wisthoff, 20, along with two juveniles. All four suspects face multiple counts of motor vehicle theft. Additionally, the two adults are charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Police believe the group may be linked to as many as 12 auto thefts in the 48 hours leading up to their arrest. Besides the vehicle thefts, they may also be responsible for thousands of dollars in damage due to broken vehicle windows. Further criminal charges are anticipated.
