2025 was a year unlike any other for Nextpower. We expanded into new technology categories, delivered critical infrastructure in emerging markets, and laid the foundation for what comes next in energy. At the center of it all was a relentless focus on our customers-partnering deeper, moving faster, and solving real-world challenges with precision. In short, we became Nextpower.

Here's a look back at the moments that defined this pivotal year in our company's history, culminating in the launch of our new name and identity.
eBOS expansion | We acquired Bentek on May 14 to enhance our electrical balance-of-system capabilities, laying the groundwork for a more integrated solar platform. That led to the September launch of NX PowerMerge™, our first major eBOS product: a smart trunk connector that simplifies DC collection and reduces labor.
Robotics & Monitoring | On July 29, we launched a new division focused on AI, robotics, and predictive operations-naming our first Chief AI & Robotics Officer to lead future-ready innovation such as NX Ranger™ and NX Vantage™. On Dec. 3 - when we opened a new Southeast regional operations center in Tennessee and expanded our steel fabrication footprint- we also showcased our new Remote Monitoring Center that further supports our monitoring and global O&M services.
Steel frames established | On Sept. 19, we brought steel frame innovation in-house with the acquisition of Origami Solar to support next-gen PV modules with domestic manufacturing advantages. We followed that up on with a partnership announcement with T1 Energyon October 15, securing a multi-year agreement to supply U.S.-made steel frames for T1 solar modules.
In addition, during Capital Markets Dayon Nov. 12, we also mentioned our acquisition of FracSun, a soil-loss modeling device, and our entry into power conversion systems.
We started 2025 by announcing a partnership with UC Berkeley Engineering on Jan. 15 to establish the CAL-NEXT Center for Solar Energy Research to advance solar R&D. The $6.5 million initiative supports cutting-edge research, a state-of-the-art solar test field, and hands-on learning for future energy leaders.
May 27 - Milestone in India. Nextpower surpassed 10 GW of solar trackers deployed in India, driven by wins like the 305 MW ReNew project and 1.5 GW in new partnerships.
June 25 - Substantial project in Greece. Our NX Horizon™ trackers were selected for the 550 MW Oricheio PPC Ptolemaida project, built on a reclaimed coal mine in Western Macedonia. Once operational, it will provide nearly 2% of Greece's annual electricity.
August 12 - 1.5 GW awarded in Brazil. Casa dos Ventos selected our NX Horizon-XTR tracker system for one of the largest tracker deployments in Latin America, reinforcing our reputation for scale and performance.
October 16 - Foundations in Australia. Supported by a grant from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) to accelerate large-scale solar in the country, we launched our NX Earth Truss® foundation solution in Australia.
October 23 - Joint venture in Saudi Arabia. We entered into a strategic framework to form a JV with Abunayyan Holding to localize tracker manufacturing and deployment across Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, and Africa to better serve our regional customers.
As demand for electricity accelerates, the way we generate and manage power must evolve. Our vision is to transform utility-scale power delivery through an integrated solutions platform that brings together structural, electrical, and digital intelligence. Building on more than a decade of solar technology leadership, we're advancing connected power plants of the future with speed, resilience, and long-term value.
On November 12, we hosted Capital Markets Day and officially became Nextpower-a name that embodies our ambition: to be a full-spectrum solar platform engineered for scale, driven by purpose, and focused on powering a world electrified by clean, affordable, and resilient energy.
We closed 2025 with momentum and confidence in the platform we're building. From trackers, foundations, and steel frames to eBOS, software, and AI-enabled robotics, we're helping build the energy infrastructure the world now demands.
Nextpower is just getting started.
