KENOSHA, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Athletics Department is excited to offer a variety of youth camps throughout the summer, providing young athletes the opportunity to develop their skills in a fun, competitive, and safe environment. Camps will feature instruction from UW-Parkside coaches and student-athletes in soccer, basketball, and flag football.
The Nike Soccer Camp at UW-Parkside is designed for player development and high-performance training, helping campers strengthen fundamentals, refine technique, and expand their overall knowledge of the game. Participants will learn through a variety of drills, games, and competitive play. The coed camps are open to children ages 6-14 and will run June 15-18 and Aug. 5-9. Camp spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The UW-Parkside Men's Basketball program will host two youth Skills Camps for boys entering grades 3-8. Campers will have the opportunity to improve their basketball skills while working with experienced and certified coaches in a positive and energetic environment. Participants will compete for daily awards and receive a free camp T-shirt. The Skills Camps will take place June 22-24 and July 20-22 inside De Simone Arena.
In addition, the men's basketball program will host an Elite Camp on Aug. 8 for high school students entering grades 10-12. The camp is designed to help players elevate their game and prepare for the upcoming high school season through advanced instruction and competition.
The UW-Parkside Women's Basketball team will also host several camps throughout the summer. Elite Camp I is scheduled for June 28, while Elite Camp II will take place Aug. 16. Both elite camps are open to girls entering grades 9-12 and will be held inside De Simone Arena.
The women's basketball program will also host a Kids Camp from June 22-25. The camp is open to girls entering grades 1-8 and will focus on skill development, fundamentals, and fun competition.
UW-Parkside Flag Football will host a camp on June 20 for high school-aged girls. The camp will focus on skill and knowledge development through film study, drills, and competitive activities.
