Welcome to the Team

We're growing the team at Caltius Equity Partners - and we couldn't be more excited to welcome Paul Bienaimé and Jared Ellis.

Paul rejoins us as Vice President after completing his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Paul first came to Caltius as an Associate in 2021, working across sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management in our facility and tech-enabled services verticals. In his expanded role, he'll lead deal execution and support our portfolio companies.

Jared joins us as an Associate, where he'll screen new opportunities, support diligence, and help monitor our portfolio. He comes to us from Santander, where he executed leveraged finance and M&A deals on the financial sponsors and industrials team. Jared earned his B.S. from USC's Marshall School of Business and is a proud LA native and a lifelong Dodgers and Trojans fan.

As Jim Upchurch, our CEO, put it: "Paul knows our thesis and how we execute it, so bringing him back as a Vice President was an easy decision. We're equally glad to add Jared. Both come as we close our latest fund and deepen our focus on essential services and tech-enabled services."
