A protest rally was organized by the All Pakistan Federation of United Trade Unions (APFUTU), in which thousands of government employees participated. The participants demanded the approval of theirh charter of demands, including health allowances, implementation of the revised service structure, employee regularization, and other benefits government employees.
The protesters warned that if their demands are not accepted, they will continue demonstrations and may call for a national strike.
