The City of Iowa City is inviting residents to participate in a new Communications Survey designed to help shape how the City shares information with the community.
Translated versions of the survey are also available:
The survey will serve as a guide for the Communications Office by gathering feedback on the tools residents use and prefer when receiving City news and updates. Responses will help ensure that communication efforts are clear, accessible, and effective.
The survey takes about three minutes and will close on Monday, March 9, 2026. Community members who complete the survey will have the option to enter a drawing for a $50 Downtown District gift certificate.
"This survey is an important step in making sure we are meeting the needs of our residents," said Shannon McMahon, Communications Coordinator. "The feedback we receive will directly influence how we connect with the community in the future."
The survey can be completed online through Polco. Printed copies will also be available upon request by contacting the Communications Office at [email protected] or by calling 319-356-5058.
