Porter Schachle scored two goals and added one assist to lead Alaska Anchorage to 5-3 win at Northern Michigan Saturday.

UAA had eight different skaters record a point in the win, including four with more than one point, Davis Goukler (1-1-2), Ben Anderson (1-1-2), Tanner Edwards (0-3-3) and Porter Schachle (2-1-3).

"We finally put an entire team effort together," said head coach Matt Shasby. "I was happy for our group to get rewarded for a 60-minute effort. "I thought the line of Schachle, Edwards and Anderson was excellent tonight. We are looking forward to the three weekend home stretch coming up."

Tanner Edwards sent a pass from the corner to Porter Schachle who fired a one-timer past goalie Ryan Ouellette at 5:24 of the first period.

The Wildcats tied the game at 1-1 with a goal by Aidyn Hutchinson at 2:37 of the second period, and Tynan Ewart scored at 7:59 to give NMU their only lead of the game.

Ben Anderson slide a pass across to Porter Schachle who put the puck home for this second goal of the game 12:47.

The third period featured a trio of UAA goals.

Anthony Cliché fired a long shot past UAA goalie Greg Orosz with under six minutes remaining, but Ben Anderson scored an empty-net goal in the final minute for the Seawolves.

UAA nearly doubled up NMU in shots finishing with a 49-25 advantage.

The Seawolves were 0-for-4 on the man-advantage and held the Wildcats scoreless on their two chances.
