Traffic Advisory: Temporary Road Closures and Traffic Disruptions on Lansdowne Avenue and Visart Street

The City of Saint John advises residents that Galbraith Construction will be completing manhole adjustments and related roadwork on Lansdowne Avenue and Visart Street tomorrow morning.

Work will take place in the following areas:

  • Lansdowne Avenue between Wellesley Avenue and Pugsley Avenue
  • Visart Street between Lansdowne Avenue and Beaverbrook Avenue

Crews will begin work on Lansdowne Avenue and will make every effort to accommodate traffic while work is underway. To help minimize impacts on the morning commute, work on Visart Street will not begin until the Lansdowne Avenue work is completed.

Once crews move to Visart Street, a temporary road closure will be required for several hours. A traffic control plan will be in place, and motorists are asked to follow posted signage and directions from traffic personnel.

Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible. The City thanks residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation while this work is completed.
