Mid-Mo Energy Expo scheduled for October 4
(COLUMBIA, MO)-
City of Columbia Utilities will be available to help community members learn about energy and energy programs at the Mid-Mo Energy Expo.
City of Columbia Utilities, Boone Electric Cooperative and Ameren Missouri are co-hosting the Mid-Mo Energy Expo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Boone Electric Community Building, 1413 Rangeline St.
Utility personnel and industry professionals will be on hand to share information about helpful programs available to the public. Attendees will learn about energy efficiency, solar power, electric safety, energy transmission and ancillary programs, and more.
Refreshments and giveaways will be available, and door prizes will be given out every half hour. There will also be a children's activity and coloring area.
