On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the Library of Congress Federal Credit Union's "Library Legends" team took part in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Washington, D.C. The annual walk brings people together to raise awareness and funds in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
This year, the Library Legends raised $2,485 to support the Alzheimer's Association. These funds will help provide care and support for families, advance research, and bring hope to the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's.
The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Participants of all ages and abilities come together to honor loved ones, share their stories, and work toward a future without Alzheimer's.
By joining the event, the Library Legends showed their commitment to making a difference in the community and supporting an important cause that impacts so many families.
