Montgomery's Gunter Pool to Open Memorial Day Weekend

The City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department announced that Gunter Pool, located at 2390 Cong W. L. Dickinson Drive, will open for the season on Memorial Day weekend. The pool will be open Sunday, May 24, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Monday, May 25, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $2 per person for ages 6 and up, cash only. Exact change is preferred.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Saturday is reserved for our Mayfest teen event (ages 13-17 only!), so the pool opens to the public starting Sunday.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, attendees must adhere to the pool's dress code and entry guidelines:

- Proper swim attire is required for pool entry.

- Jeans, shirts, and cover-ups are not permitted in the pool.

- Boys' swim trunks must include a built-in mesh lining.

- All bags must be clear for entry.

Changing rooms and restrooms are available on site for the convenience of our guests.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own towels and sunscreen. Trained and certified lifeguards will be on-site to ensure everyone's safety.
