The U.S. Meat Export Federation says China's tariffs on imports of U.S. pork now equal 172% . . . The U.S. International Trade Commission has ruled that Corteva Agriscience was harmed by imports of 2,4-D and will impose tariffs on imports of the chemical from China and India. Chinese and Indian 2,4-D make up 81% of the chemical's imports into the U.S. . . . CNBC reported that Amazon will spend $4 billion by the end of 2026 on expanding deliveries to small towns. More than 200 delivery stations will be added, tripling the size of its rural delivery network . . . DTN reports that CNH Industrial, parent company of Case IH and New Holland, announced a price increase beginning May 1. CNH sales in the first quarter of this year were down 23% compared to the same period last year . . . Agri-Pulse reported that President Trump's budget proposal would cut $5 billion, or 18%, from USDA programs including agricultural research, conservation technical assistance to farmers, rural development, and international food aid.
