Movies on the Move Series Returns to Neighborhood Parks in Marion this Summer
The Marion Parks and Recreation Department and ImOn Communications are pleased to announce the return of the Movies on the Move series.
One Friday per month in June, July and August, an outdoor movie will be shown at select neighborhood parks in Marion.
The movie titles, dates and locations for the 2026 season are as follows:
- Friday, June 26, featuring "Superman" at Hanna Park, 775 Fairview Dr.
- Friday, July 24, featuring "Freakier Friday" at Thomas Park, 343 Marion Blvd.
- Friday, Aug. 21, featuring "Jurassic World Rebirth" at Lowe Park Playground, 4401 Irish Dr.
Activities begin at 7 p.m. and the movies are scheduled to begin around dusk. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs/blankets for open lawn seating. Outside food and drink are permitted.
The events are free and open to the public thanks to the sponsorship support of ImOn Communications and Marion's Hotel/Motel Grant program.
