Specialized Investigations Division detectives this afternoon arrested Centennial High School (Williamson County) football coach Herman (Jay) Graham III, 50, on felony charges of patronizing prostitution with a minor and solicitation of a minor for aggravated statutory rape.
As part of a prostitution sting conducted in partnership with the Special Victims Division and the TBI, detectives posted ads on adult escort websites. Graham is alleged to have responded to one of those ads and then engaged in a text conversation with an undercover officer who was posing as a juvenile. During the conversation, the undercover officer said that she was 16. The two agreed upon a price of $120 for sex. Graham responded to a Nashville hotel room, gave the female undercover officer $120, and was immediately taken into custody. Bond for Graham is set at $45,000.
Two other men were also arrested in today's sting.
Aaron Barnack, 46, of Erin, Tennessee, is charged with two counts of patronizing prostitution with a minor and two counts of solicitation of a minor for aggravated statutory rape after he allegedly replied to the Internet ad and made a deal for $1,000 to spend the night with a 16-year-old and her 17-year-old cousin. Barnack was taken into custody after he arrived at the motel room and met with two female undercover officers. Barnack's bond is set at $45,000.
Anthony Proctor, 20, of Hermitage, is charged with patronizing prostitution with a minor and solicitation of a minor for aggravated statutory rape after he allegedly replied to the Internet ad and made a deal for $50 for a 15-minute sexual visit with the undercover officer posing as a 16-year-old. He was taken into custody after exchanging money with the undercover officer. Proctor's bond is set at $41,000.
