Modified Sanitation Collection Schedule for Presidents Day


WILMINGTON - City government offices will be closed on Monday, February 16, for Presidents Day. As a result, the Department of Public Works' Sanitation Division will collect trash and recyclables on a modified holiday schedule.

The modified holiday schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, February 16: CITY HOLIDAY/ NO COLLECTION

  • Tuesday, February 17: East of I-95 trash collection

  • Wednesday, February 18: West of I-95 trash collection

  • Thursday, February 19: East of I-95 recycling collection

  • Friday, February 20: West of I-95 recycling collection
