Dignity Health Sacramento Hospitals Receive 2025 Environmental Excellence Awards from Practice Greenhealth

Sacramento, July 22, 2025 - Practice Greenhealth has awarded all five Dignity Health Sacramento hospitals the 2025 Environmental Excellence Awards, the nation's highest honor for healthcare facilities demonstrating leadership in sustainability, environmental stewardship, and climate resilience.

Awarded hospitals include:

• Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital
• Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center
• Dignity Health Mercy Hospital of Folsom
• Dignity Health Methodist Hospital of Sacramento
• Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital

Honorees demonstrate excellence across multiple areas, including energy and water conservation, waste reduction, and mercury elimination.
