City of Columbia offices will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11, in observance of opens in a new windowVeterans Day.

The holiday will impact several City services.

Trash and Recycling

The City will collect residential curbside trash and recycling on the observed holiday.

• Residents can download the CoMo Recycle and Trash App for collection day reminders and service notifications.
• Questions concerning the collection schedule should be directed to the Contact Center at 573.874.CITYopens phone dialer (2489).
• The landfill will also be open on Nov. 11.

Transportation and Parking

• opens in a new windowGo COMO, Columbia's public transit system, will not operate Wednesday, Nov. 11. This includes fixed-route, opens in a new windowParatransit and opens in a new windowTiger Line services.
• Public Works will suspend parking enforcement Nov. 11.

Public Safety, Health and Recreation

The City's Activity and Recreation Center (ARC) will operate on Veterans Day at reduced hours Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The City will close Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services Nov. 11. Regular business hours will resume at 8 a.m. on Nov. 12.

Although the City will close administrative offices for both the Police and Fire Departments, all other emergency services will be available.
