In its most recent blog, Paul Neville, highlights the importance of the pensions industry embracing digital, data and technology as a way of boosting saver outcomes and helping grow the economy.

In the blog, the Regulator's digital, data and technology strategy is outlined, together with the data challenges and opportunities involved in its approach.

The Regulator plans to launch a Pensions Data and Digital Working Group in the autumn, a cross-sector initiative which it expects to "become a pivotal force in shaping a key enabler for the future of the pensions industry".

The new group will bring together industry and tech leaders to collaborate on open data standards, support the development of digital services, and help shape a responsible innovation framework for the use of AI in pensions.
