PORTLAND, Ore. - Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) announced today that Cale Benner was promoted to assistant vice president of Total Experience in IT.
In this role, Benner leads the company's Total Experience strategy, driving meaningful and unified experiences that are intuitive, personalized and effective in meeting the evolving needs of The Standard's customers and employees. Additional responsibilities include managing the company's Voice of the Customer program, storytelling, design, accessibility and process re-engineering. In addition, Benner oversees the Contact Center and customer relationship management technology platforms, ensuring all customer touchpoints are in harmony.

Before joining The Standard in 2021, Benner led digital and user experience teams at Unum, focusing on driving digital adoption and customer satisfaction. He also held leadership roles at Colonial Life including director of Customer Experience and chief of staff.
