Delivery Driver Convicted of Child Molestation

On February 26, 2026, Mohammad Salarzai was convicted by a jury of two counts of lewd act upon a child and one count of forcible lewd act upon a child.

Salarzai was working as a delivery driver. On July 17, 2023, he delivered a package to the then 12-year-old victim's house. Salarzai, convinced the victim to let him in the house to use the bathroom. When he got inside the house, Salarzai started to molest the victim, including touching his chest and rubbing his thigh. The victim was able to leave the house.

Mohammad Salarzai faces a maximum sentence of 26 years in prison. Sentencing is set for April 17, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in Department 30 before the Honorable Donald Currier.
