We Want You to Know...

Welcome Figure Installation and Landscaping Project
Construction of new landscaping and seating is now complete at Isthmus Park near the base of the 4th Avenue Bridge. The nature-scape design features large logs that mimic nurse logs found in our nearby old-growth forests, along with driftwood reflecting Olympia's connection to the Salish Sea. The new landscaping will soon be home to a Welcome Figure centerpiece created by local Squaxin Island Tribal member and carver Andrea Wilbur-Sigo, to be installed in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for details about the upcoming dedication ceremony. Questions: [email protected].
