Bands Invited to Apply for 2027 Concerts in the Park

The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department is inviting local and regional bands of all musical genres to apply to perform during the 2027 Concerts in the Park series.

The free summer concert series is scheduled to take place on select Saturday evenings from June through August 2027, offering participating bands an opportunity to perform live for community members and audiences from throughout the Central Coast.

Interested bands must submit an application along with an Electronic Press Kit (EPK) or demo, band biography, and high-resolution photo. Applications are available on the City of Santa Maria website at www.cityofsantamara.org/recreation. Completed application materials may be submitted online or by email to [email protected].

The deadline to apply is Saturday, October 31st, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. Complete application materials must be received by the deadline for consideration for the 2027 series.

Concerts in the Park is a free summer series presented by the Recreation and Parks Department that brings the community together for live music in an outdoor setting. The series also provides participating musicians the opportunity to share their music with audiences in Santa Maria.
