Railroad Crews will be performing work at the Railroad Crossing on SR 36
The road closure will begin today and continue through Friday

Woodland, GA: The Georgia DOT advises Talbot County motorists that a railroad crews will start today. Railroad crews will be on SR 36 at the Railroad crossing at at Main Street to perform maintenance work. The project will be active from December 17-19. This work will improve the crossing for motorists traveling on SR 36. An off-site detour is anticipated.

Please note that dates are subject to change due to weather and/or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists should anticipate extended travel times and delays. Please avoid this closure area if at all possible.

When: Starting December 17-19, 2025, 8-5 pm daily

Advisory: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
