CellCentric strengthens Board and executive leadership with appointments of Paolo Pucci and Jason Cavalier

Appointments add extensive public-company governance, capital markets, financing and transaction experience as CellCentric prepares for its next phase of growth

CellCentric, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing inobrodib, an oral, first-in-class p300/CBP inhibitor, for the treatment of multiple myeloma and other cancers, today announced the appointment of Paolo Pucci as a Non-Executive Director and Jason Cavalier as Chief Financial Officer.

The appointments strengthen CellCentric's governance and financial infrastructure, investor relations and capital markets capabilities as it advances its clinical strategy and prepares for its next phase of growth.

Paolo Pucci brings more than three decades of international biotechnology and pharmaceutical leadership, with extensive board experience across private and public life sciences companies. He held executive roles at Eli Lilly & Co. (1991-2001) and Bayer AG (2001-2008), where he served as SVP & President of the Global Specialty Pharmaceuticals Business. As CEO and Director of ArQule from 2008 to 2020, he led its transformation into a focused precision oncology, haematology and rare diseases enterprise, raising over $500 million and positioning the company for its approximately $2.7 billion acquisition by Merck Inc.

Paolo began his Non-Executive Director career in 2011 at Dyax, later joining the boards of Algeta ASA, NewLink Genetics, Trillium Therapeutics, Tarus and Merus NV. He currently serves as an Independent Director at Replimune Group, West Pharmaceutical Services, Chiesi Farmaceutici and AION Healthspan.

Jason Cavalier joins CellCentric with more than 25 years of experience leading and advising public and private companies across finance, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations and corporate strategy. As a former CFO of a Nasdaq-listed biotechnology company, together with senior investment banking roles including at Cantor Fitzgerald, RBC Capital Markets and Bear Stearns, he brings deep expertise in public company reporting and administration, institutional investor engagement and corporate development.

Will West, Chief Executive Officer of CellCentric, said:

"Paolo and Jason join CellCentric at an important point in the company's development. Paolo's experience building biotechnology businesses, governing listed companies and guiding boards through major strategic phases and decisions will be invaluable. Jason brings deep financial leadership, capital markets expertise and the operating discipline required as CellCentric continues to scale.

"Together, these appointments strengthen the governance, reporting and investor-engagement capabilities as we continue to build both in the U.S and UK. They position CellCentric well to maximise options going forward, to continue to advance inobrodib."
