Dave Grohl opened up about performing with AC/DC back in October, calling the experience "unbelievable."
During a Sunday (Nov. 1) appearance on The Rock podcast, the Foo Fighters frontman recalled joining the legendary rock band on guitar and backing vocals at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Oct. 2.
"My wife was on the side of the stage as we played 'Highway to Hell,'" he revealed. "I walked off stage, and I broke down in tears, sobbing like a baby. I was sobbing, like wailing, and I couldn't believe it. I was, like, 'That is one of the most full-circle moments of my entire life,' and I will never forget it."
The "Learn to Fly" hitmaker also described AC/DC as "the loudest band in the world," recalling how the group's Let There Be Rock film inspired him as a young musician.
"I was, like, 'That's what I wanna be when I grow up,'" he admitted. "I wanna be that guy."
