9 UI online programs earn national honors

U.S. News & World Report has ranked nine University of Iowa programs among the best in the country in its new ranking of online programs.

The Iowa programs ranked:

  • Best online Master of Nursing, administration/leadership: No. 7
  • Best online Master of Business Administration, finance: No. 8
  • Best online Master of Business for Veterans: No. 11
  • Best online Master of Business Administration, business analytics: No. 15
  • Best online Master of Business: No. 16
  • Best online Master of Business Administration for Veterans: No. 17
  • Best online Master of Business Administration, general management: No. 19
  • Best online Master of Business Administration: No. 25
  • Best online Master of Education: No. 31

The rankings were released Jan. 21.

Programs were ranked based on multiple factors, including engagement, or the extent to which a degree program promotes participation by enabling students to effectively interact with instructors and classmates; services and technologies; faculty credentials and training; and peer evaluations.
