It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s the Santa Ana Fun Run returning on April 11!

Registration is open until April 5 for the superhero-themed 5K and 10K race.

SANTA ANA, Calif.- The City of Santa Ana invites the community to unleash their inner superhero at the annual Santa Ana Fun Run! The 5K and 10K races take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Santa Ana Stadium (corner of Civic Center Drive and Flower Street), featuring a superhero theme.

"The Santa Ana Fun Run is more than just a race - it's a celebration of our community and the vibrant spirit that makes our city so special," said Mayor Valerie Amezcua. "When we come together to move, connect and support one another, we strengthen the quality of life for everyone who calls Santa Ana home. Together, we can build a healthier, more connected Santa Ana."

All registered 5K and 10K participants will receive a race bib with a timing chip and a commemorative medal at the end of the race. No on-site registrations will be available.Race check-in begins at 7 a.m. in Santa Ana Stadium, with the 10K starting at 8 a.m. and the 5K at 9 a.m. A limited number of event shirts will be available for purchase on-site for $20, while supplies last.

• Early bird registration: February 23-March 8
  • 5K: $10
  • 10K: $25 (includes event shirt)
• General registration: March 9 - April 5
  • 5K: $15
  • 10K: $30 (includes event shirt)
• Kids Dash: On-site registration
  • Free for all participants, ages 4-11. Space is limited and registration is required. Races will be divided by age groups and corresponding distances:
    • 11 a.m.: Ages 4-6 (30 yards)
    • 11:20 a.m.: Ages 7-9 (60 yards)
    • 11:35 a.m.: Ages 10-11 (100 yards)

Bib Pick-Up

Wednesday, April 8, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Santa Ana Stadium east parking lot, located at 602 N. Flower St., Santa Ana, CA 92703.

Along with these featured highlights, guests can also enjoy special participation from our title-level partner, Project Kinship, who will be on-site keeping racers energized and hydrated with bananas and water, in addition to providing a craft area for youth.

Parking

Event parking will be located at P1 Stadium Parking Structure, 1020 W. Civic Center Drive, and at P6 Parking Structure, 601 W. Santa Ana Blvd. Please note street closures will be around the event area and traffic will be impacted.
