Suspect Wanted For Fraud
New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for felony contract fraud.
Wanted is Ray Nikdast (pictured), White male, DOB 03/26/1956, height 5' 9", and weight 165 pounds. His last known residence is in Metairie, LA.
Ray Nikdast is wanted for violating LA R.S. 14:202.1 relative to Residential Contractor Fraud.
According to investigators, during October of 2024 Ray Nikdast and victim entered into a contract for a home renovation in the 100 block of Lakewood Estates. The contract was not properly fulfilled with only a small percentage of the contracted work being completed by February of 2025 and the victim terminated the contract. Efforts to retrieve the funds paid to Ray Nikdast for work he did not perform were unsuccessful.
