City of Santa Fe Invites Everyone to a Fourth of July Like No Other

The City of Santa Fe and the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe invite the entire community to celebrate Independence Day and America's 250th birthday at the Fourth of July Fireworks & Drone Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Franklin E. Miles Park, 1027 Camino Carlos Rey. Admission is free, and the gates and free shuttles open at 4:00 PM.

This year's celebration features a spectacular finale: a Sky Elements drone show of 400 synchronized aircraft - one of the largest fleets in the nation - followed by a full professional fireworks display. Three live bands, LUMPY, LUMBROS, and SAY WHEN, perform throughout the evening, alongside food trucks and family activities on the park's wide-open fields.

It is a distinct honor for the Capital City: the celebration has been named an official New Mexico Spirit (NM Spirit) event of America's Semiquincentennial - the state's official commemoration of 250 years of American independence, led by the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs. The designation recognizes Santa Fe's central place in the nation's founding story.

Getting there: park smart, ride free. The State of New Mexico lots just north of the park offer park-and-walk access - no shuttle needed. Santa Fe High School and Milagro Middle School offer free parking with continuous shuttles beginning at 4:00 PM, dropping off and picking up at Nava Elementary next to the park.

A celebration with our neighbors. Residents around the park are encouraged to obtain a free Neighborhood Credential Pass, which allows resident vehicles through road-closure checkpoints and should be displayed in the windshield. Click here to request a pass.
